Nancy Nachbar

Nancy Nachbar is an executive and team coach, facilitator, trainer, and consultant. She spent more than two decades in technical, management, and leadership positions in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, dedicated to improving the lives of people across the globe. From working in more than 20 countries and living in Kenya and Japan Nancy gained a broad, cross-cultural perspective that informs her approach.

Her own experience navigating complex management, leadership, and team challenges in high-pressure settings sparked a passion for supporting others through similar experiences. Today, Nancy partners with leaders and teams who are in need of new ways of thinking, doing, and being in order to perform at the highest levels in their organizations, careers, and lives.

Nancy grew up in New York City and now lives in Kensington, Maryland with her husband, daughter, and dog (all experts at helping her to discover and test new ways of thinking, doing, and being). She is dedicated to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis and volunteers as a fundraiser, advocate, and public speaker for that cause. When not working, she manages her daughter’s soccer team, and enjoys running and taking HITT and strength-training classes. She also loves to cook and share good food and conversation with friends and family.

Education & Training:

Nancy has Doctor of Public Health and Master of Public Health degrees from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA in psychology/sociology and theater from Wesleyan University. She received her Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and her Certificate in Team Coaching from Corentus. She is certified as a coach through the International Coach Federation.
