Inner Frontier Partnership with Nic Askew

As an organizational psychologist, executive coach, consultant, designer and facilitator of multiple leadership development experiences, and former executive at a large consulting firm, I have experienced many different approaches to developing leaders—including myself.

One thing I’ve come to realize through all these experiences…

We need a new paradigm: new ways of understanding what leadership means and new ways to tap into people’s capacity and potential to lead effectively.

It starts with the foundational element of CONNECTION—with one’s true purpose, with others, and with larger organizational ecosystems.

Central to this connection is the experience of BEING SEEN.

This is why I am excited to tell you about my partnership with renowned filmmaker Nic Askew and the leadership experience we’ve co-created called “The Inner Frontier”—one of the most powerful avenues of self-discovery and connection available to a leader and to teams and one that allows you to achieve the results you are seeking.

But, before we dive in, let’s go back to where it all started…

I’ve been following Nic’s work and watching his Inner View films since 2010, when I was first introduced to them at Georgetown’s Leadership Coaching Program. As I viewed these short films, I noticed myself slowing down and becoming more present. I was centered.

I made it a practice to watch them a couple of times per week as a way of calming and centering myself for just a few minutes during busy days of serving clients, leading teams, and raising my kids.

As I absorbed these films, I started envisioning their integration into my coaching and other leadership development endeavors, driven by the profound impact they were having on me.

Nic also shared with me a desire to take a next step with his Inner View Method: supporting people to build further upon the insights they gained, taking courageous action and making other meaningful changes in their life and work.

So with his filming and my leadership and coaching expertise, we decided to partner. The results have been striking.

Clients have described their experience as feeling fully seen, fully accepted, and fully alive. More importantly, they have a way to go back to that feeling and lead from that place.

The result of this experience is not just film; it is the profound process that leads to the creation of film. And instead of just teaching and talking about vulnerability, complexity, cohesion, and collaboration…

This method is the doing and being it, too.

This work crosses a demonstrable Inner Frontier and will have a marked practical effect on the way you lead yourself and your teams.

Our next Inner Frontier experience will take place in Washington, D.C. this October and we would love to have you join us. Click below to learn more about this transformative event.  Participation is limited to only ten participants.  If you are interested and would like to know more, please reach out to me and we can chat more about it.

To Connection,

Lori
